We are now looking to appoint a summer worker for the Scientific Information Management Systems (SIMS) Group for the Data Management Software Center division. 

The tasks and responsibilities of the group include but are not limited to:

• Delivery of critical software that make neutron scattering experiments at the ESS possible and successful.
• Develop the ESS user portal, metadata catalogue, electronic notebook and more.
• Participate in the development of existing and new web applications.
• Manage the growing set of integration, the development happens in a collaborative, open-source environment.

Duration and location 

This is a summer work position of 8 weeks. Planned start date is 01 July, 2025 or per agreement.
