About the position
We are now looking to appoint a summer worker for the Asset and Maintenance Management (AMM) function in the Engineering Management Group.
The Asset and Maintenance Management function is responsible for support in setting-up, implement and maintain processes, functionalities and information management in EAM, as well as maintenance management, framework and strategies to the whole ESS organisation. The team also supports in uploading and creating information in the system.
As a Technical Documentation & Information Management summer worker your main tasks will include:
- Relocate and structure existing documentation from Installation Binders in Confluence (Atlassian) to CHESS, ensuring correct classification and accessibility.
- Review, update, and clean up existing information in Confluence to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
- Support basic data management activities in EAM, including reviewing, updating, and validating information.
- Collaborate with AMM team members to understand information needs and ensure that the content is user-friendly and fit for purpose.
About you
A suitable background for this position would be:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g. Engineering or similar).
- Familiarity with Confluence Atlassian is a plus (but not required).
- Basic knowledge of content management systems and document structures.
- Basic knowledge about technical documentation and ability to understand drawings.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Minimum age 18 years.

Duration and location
This is a summer work position for 7-8 weeks. Planned start date is 8 June 2026 or per agreement.
Your workplace is on-site at ESS in Lund, Sweden.
