For our SQS group, we are looking for an Scientist in Ultrafast Spectroscopy.
The Position
- Active participation in the broad science program at the SQS instrument
- Development of new systems and sources for cutting-edge time-resolved experiments at the shortest (few femtosecond to attosecond) timescales
- Integration and improvement of the current optical systems for time-resolved multi-wavelenngth pump-probe experiments, especially the extension towards the UV-VUV wavelength regime
- Development of individual research activities at the European XFEL
- Support and consultation to instrument users for their experimental campaign
