This position is allocates within a project named MARCHESE, which aims at tackling emergency situations in the accelerators complex. Within this project, you will:
- work on advanced machine learning algorithms to detect human presence in harsh environment and monitor human health at distance;
- explore and improve technologies of contactless monitoring of bio signals such as respiration and heartrates, using methods including photoplethysmography and artificial intelligence techniques.

Skills and/or knowledge

• Sound knowledge of C, C++ and Python;
• Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and simulations;
• Experience in mechatronics and robotics;
• Experience in working with continuous integration software tools and deployments in Agile-based software teams.

You have a professional background in Robotic Engineering (or a related field) and have either:

• a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience;
• or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
