We are offering a 2-year full-time postdoctoral research fellowship focused on the study of the magnetic behaviour of amorphous metal-organic framework (MOF) magnets.
The project aims to investigate amorphous antiferromagnetic states in imidazolate MOF glasses, a novel class of materials combining structural disorder with tunable magnetic properties. These systems provide unique opportunities to explore fundamental questions related to magnetic order in the absence of long-range structural order.
The project includes international collaboration and a secondment at the University of Cambridge, as well as interactions with theoretical support (Dr Ludovic Jaubert, Bordeaux).
