Your team
The HIPPIE beamline, located at the 3 GeV ring, together with SPECIES beamline on the 1.5 GeV ring form the AP-XPS group which is responsible for the development of the Ambient Pressure X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy Program at MAX IV. The beamlines provide a wide range of sample environments for in situ and operando XPS and XAS across four instruments and numerous sample environments. The group consists of approximately 10 members including scientists, engineers and postdocs who are actively driving multiple research and projects, among which are time-resolved photoemission, electrochemistry, corrosion, catalysis and thin-film deposition.

Would you like to work at one of the brightest lightsources in the world?

The APXPS group is looking for a postdoc who will:

  • Develop electrochemical flow cells for operando AP-XPS and -XAS experiments, primarily at the HIPPIE beamline
  • Run a scientific research project on the topic of time-resolved electrochemistry.
