As part of European XFEL's strategic program, it has been decided to focus on the unique emerging possibilities for attosecond science using the ultrashort and intense X-ray laser beams that the facility can generate. In particular, research opportunities in nonlinear X-ray - matter interactions and ultrafast diffraction/imaging are targeted with this position as Postdoc in the MID group.
For our MID group we are looking for a Post doctoral researcher for hard X-ray attosecond science.
The Position
- Development of attosecond science experiments and science using hard X-ray FEL radiation
- Participation in attosecond beam diagnostics, characterization, and benchmarking experiments
- Support of user experiments, commissioning and in-house research at MID
- Data analysis and publication of scientific results
