The group is specialized in the neutrino physics with liquid scintillator-based detectors. The group members are involved in the data analysis of the Borexino experiment in Italy and in various activities regarding the Jiangmen Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) in China. JUNO is going to be the first multi-kton liquid scintillator detector ever built. The main physics goal is the determination of neutrino mass ordering, one of the key open questions in the present-day neutrino physics.
Your profile:
- Master degree in physics
- At least basic programming skills in C++, Python, Root
The position is limited to 3,5 years. The salary is based on the German civil service employee.
