The Position

• Continuous development of our PhD School
• Develop and implement the PhD School Curriculum 
• Trusted contact for internal and affiliated PhD Students in all matters related to their PhD studies 
• Liaison with national and international graduate programs – with focus on PhD schools in the Hamburg area (IMPRS, DASHH, PIER, …) 
• Explore funding opportunities in education and acquire 3rd party funding 
• Develop and implement a program to host undergraduate students from shareholder countries
• Promote awareness (and understanding) of the scientific output of the PhD School among staff, scientific community and the public, in collaboration with the Communications Group 
• Quality monitoring of the impact and relevance of PhD thesis and related scientific publications
• Support the Scientific Director in coordinating and managing the scientific activities of the PhD School, such as preparing various reports, documentations, analyses, presentations and speeches.
