Come and join the “Fluids” team within the Mechanical Engineering Service of the ILL's Reactor Division. We are looking for a mechanical maintenance technician: you will work in direct collaboration with the other technicians within the group, and in particular, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation and in-service monitoring of the reactor's light water installations and two radioactive liquid effluent discharge stations.

- Preparing the documentation required for maintenance operations: drafting work procedures and work authorisations
- Preparing and setting up work sites: selecting appropriate equipment configurations, preparing the work areas in conjunction with the Health Physics, Safety and Environment Service and performing maintenance operations
- Drafting, where necessary, a maintenance report and filling out the logs for equipment under maintenance
- Performing statutory periodic tests and inspections
- Drafting technical specifications for subcontracted maintenance operations
- Monitoring work carried out by subcontractors
- Drafting technical documentation (procedures, instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), reports, etc.) in compliance with the ILL's Integrated Management System
- Assist on an occasional basis with the operation of other equipment under the group’s responsibility.
