You will join a team that provides Configuration Management, Engineering expertise and Operation Support for CERN's secondary beams & Experimental Areas as well as for related projects and studies. You will contribute to the North Area Consolidation Project:
- carrying out FEM analysis of existing BID's;
- prepare a manufacturing plan;
- produce engineering drawings, technical specifications and the "as built" documentation.
Skills and/or knowledge
- Experience in Mechanical engineering;
- Knowledge of CAD & FEM analysis (ANSYS).
You have a professional background in Mecanique (or a related field) and have either:
- a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience;
- or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
