As a Logistics Professional in CERN’s Engineering Department, you will be involved in the Future Circular Collider (FCC) study, performing simulations of the logistics chain You will be in charge of the logistics aspects of the FCC study, ranging from surface logistics to underground installation, including the production simulations of items manufactured in large series (e.g. magnets).
You will join the Engineering Department (EN), which provides CERN with the Engineering Competences, Infrastructure Systems, and Technical Coordination required for the design, installation, operation, maintenance and dismantling phases of the CERN accelerator complex and its experimental facilities. The position is open in the Handling Engineering Group (EN-HE), which prepares, organises, and coordinates all transport and handling operations for the CERN accelerators and experiments as well as the transport of thousands of conventional items, chemical, and radioactive products per year.
