You will support day-to-day logistics operations, coordinate activities and projects in the field with various stakeholders, and follow up on continuous improvement initiatives related to services and infrastructures. As part of the Logistics Operations team, you will combine administrative tasks with practical follow-up in the field, supporting a wide range of logistics services for the CERN community, including Goods Reception and Expedition, Internal Delivery, Stores, Storage and Mail Services.

Your responsibilities

• Support day-to-day logistics operations, including inventory management and process optimisation.
• Coordinate operations-related projects and activities in the field with various stakeholders and contractors, and follow up on agreed actions.
• Follow up on logistics infrastructure-related tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to services and infrastructures.
• Support the collection of supply chain operational data, reporting and KPI monitoring.

Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria

• You are a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State. Currently, we cannot consider applications from Pakistani, Lithuanian, Latvian, Cypriot, Croatian and Turkish nationals, as the ceiling defined under Article II.5 of the Associate Membership Agreement has been reached.
• By the application deadline, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in the respective field and your highest educational qualification is either a bachelor’s or master’s degree. You must have a university degree and can’t hold a PhD.
• You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
