In this role, you'll join the Beam Transfer Electronics (BTE) team, which is responsible for the design, development, production, exploitation, quality assurance, performance follow-up and maintenance of controls electronics for all equipment under the responsibility of the ABT group. It takes also care of associated R&D activities.

As a member of this team, you will:

• Design gateware for timing and triggering systems, starting by writing HDL testbenches for existing gateware modules, and then developing new modules for added functionalities;
• Participate in the Fast Interlocks Detection System deployment and commissioning;
• Provide support in hardware, gateware, and/or embedded software design, depending on the needs of the section.

Skills and/or knowledge

• Experience working on VHDL design for synthesis, in particular with Xilinx ISE & Vivado;
• Experience in HDL simulation and verification in VHDL, SystemVerilog, or other; 
• Knowledge of Linux command line tools, e.g. git, make, docker, etc;

• You have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electronics Engineering (or a related field) by the application deadline.
• Your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
