In this position, you will be directly working with the teams responsible for the fast pulsed magnet systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Testing of the fast pulsed magnet system, especially the system qualification and high voltage conditioning; 
• Preparation and setting up of pulsed power laboratory experiments;  
• Carrying out measurements on both, kicker magnets and their pulse generators in the laboratory and the operational accelerators;
• Basic programming of measurement interfaces for automatization purposes; 

Skills and/or knowledge

• Good knowledge of electrical circuits and electronics; 
• Knowledge in measurement techniques for electrical/electronic circuits;
• Experience in carrying out measurements especially with oscilloscopes,
• Experience in writing measurement reports, procedures and equipment documentation;
• Experience in the assembly of electrical and electronic circuits, soldering and mounting of cable connectors. 

• You have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) by the application deadline.
• Your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
