The Electrical Engineering Group (EN-EL) at CERN is responsible for the electrical power-distribution network (from 400 kV to 400/230V), for the fibre-optics infrastructure, and for signal and DC-power cabling for the accelerator complex.

As a Junior Asset Manager in the Maintenance and Operation section of the EN-EL group, you will play a key role in managing the representation of CERN's electrical network assets and associated inventory within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

You will be responsible for defining and implementing asset hierarchies, failure codes, and maintenance workflows, ensuring data quality and operational usability for the EN-EL team. Your scope will include both installed equipment across CERN's electrical infrastructure and spare parts stored in warehouses.

Eligibility criteria:

  • You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.
  • By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electrical / Industrial Engineer (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
  • Applicants without University degree are not eligible.
  • Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.
