ESS is looking for a SANS Instrument Scientist to lead the SKADI instrument construction project. This is a critical role that exists within the Large-Scale Structures Division. SKADI is a small-angle neutron scattering instrument designed specifically with the needs of the complex soft matter, materials science, and hard condensed matter communities in mind, and will be among the first instruments to become operational at ESS. Leading the SKADI team, including the lead engineer, data scientist, operations engineer, and our in-kind partners, Forschungszentrum Jülich and Laboratoire Léon Brillouin, you will be tasked with delivering the SKADI instrument to hot commissioning and with taking it into user operations.
