About the team
You will join a highly skilled HR team dedicated to collaboration, enhancing efficiency, and fostering continuous learning. The HR division, part of the Administrative Directorate, consists of 14 colleagues who collectively support the ESS organisation in staffing, employee services, strategic HR support, work environment, compensation & benefits, and learning & development. 

About the role
The ESS is at an exciting turning point. It is in transition from being a construction site, to being an operating facility. To help us realise our goal of being the most powerful neutron source in the world, we are now seeking to hire an HR Officer to play a vital role in attracting and securing top talent across all of our business units. In this dynamic and varied role, you will focus on two main areas: Project coordination of staff planning and Recruitment. 

As part of the project coordination team, you will play a key role in driving project activities forward and helping meet critical deadlines. Your proactive approach will support smooth collaboration and efficient delivery across stakeholders. For this project you will report to the Head of HR division. 

On the recruitment side, you will take responsibility for all aspects of the hiring process, ensuring high-quality service throughout both the operational and administrative tasks. You will support and coach hiring managers, offering expert guidance on best practices and ensuring a positive, streamlined experience for all candidates. Fot the recruitment activities you will report to the HR Operations Group Leader.
