In this critical role, you will interact with various ESS stakeholders to define requirements, design and develop embedded subsystems for machine protection. Broadly speaking, this will involve documenting/analysing requirements, participating in creating test and validation plans according to requirements, designing embedded system solutions, preparing for technical reviews, troubleshooting and optimising existing solutions, supporting the delivered systems as well as documenting requirements for machine protection systems (e.g. Fast Interlock System for Target).
