You will join the Collaborations Office, working closely with colleagues in the Access and Collaborations Group. The role involves daily interaction with staff across MAX IV and with external partners, primarily European research infrastructures engaged in international collaborations. You will have central responsibility for project implementation, supported by a team lead and group manager, and benefit from active knowledge exchange within the team.

MAX IV is looking for a Project Officer to support three European initiatives. While your level of responsibility will vary between initiatives, you will play a key role in driving and implementing project activities, working with both project coordination and administration.

Your main work tasks will be

• Support overall design and implementation of work packages.
• Organise and manage a cross‑consortium open call for technical developments.
• Support planning and delivery of two in‑person cross-sector events.
• Follow up on sub‑project implementation and progress.
• Design and conduct an assessment of consortium innovation potential.
• Assess funding schemes for research infrastructures across Europe.
• Develop activities within the Life Science Hub focused on search for funding opportunities, grant applications submission, and strengthening of the collaboration in the Baltic region.
