As a Construction Project Engineer in SCE Department, PPM Group, you will:

• Participate in feasibility studies & preliminary design;
• Commission design from external architects/engineers;
• Coordinate building design with other equipment and submit a detailed design to end users;
• Take part in the preparation of calls for tenders, firms selection, opening of offers, decisions on designer selection.
• Supervise the execution of civil engineering works, comprising the following:
  • Ensuring, with external consultants, that all new surface and underground construction complies with contractual drawings & specification documents;
  • Supervising works on-site, checking measurements based on bill of quantities, certifying payments and making sure costs and schedules are maintained;
  • Organizing hand-over procedures, following up any subsequent work;
  • Ensuring all safety measures are taken to avoid accidents on site.

Skills and/or knowledge

You have a professional background in Civil Engineering (or a related field) and have either:

• a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience;
• or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
