Mer information
The European Spallation Source (ESS) invites applications for a Computational Instrument Scientist for Reflectometry at the division for Data Management and Scientific Computing (DMSC) in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this role, you will be central in developing world-leading scientific computing capabilities to support the reflectometry instruments at ESS and enable high-impact science.
ESS is a “Big Science” project that will become the world’s most powerful neutron source when fully operational in 2027. The facility will enable researchers to probe the structure, interfaces, and dynamics of advanced materials with unprecedented detail, supporting transformative research across materials science, energy, life science, and nanotechnology.
About the role
As a Computational Instrument Scientist for Reflectometry, you will play a key role in ensuring that users can generate high-quality scientific results from experiments performed at the reflectometry instruments at ESS. Through close collaboration with instrument teams, developers, and fellow computational instrument scientists, you will support the development of scientific computing solutions, workflows, and services across the full data lifecycle.
