You will join a small technical team of engineers and technicians responsible for the design, prototyping, assembly, testing and installation of the Detector Safety System (DSS) and the subdetector safety systems. The team is also responsible for the operation of the existing central DSS system before its replacement by the new DSS system. You will also interface with the team in charge of the subdetector safety systems and the group in charge of the definition of the DSS architecture.

• You are a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State.
• By the application deadline, you have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience since graduation in a technical or administrative field and your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma or a shorter non-university degree. You can’t hold a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD.
• You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
