In this position, you will contribute to two main fields of the collider design:
1) The beam dynamics design of the final cooling, which is a core system to achieve the beam quality that is essential to reach the physics potential.
2) Act as the study leader to develop an integrated high-level model of the collider performance.
Skills and/or knowledge
- Sound knowledge of Accelerator physics and beam dynamics
- Experience in programming (e.g. Python)
You have a professional background in Physique (or a related field) and have either:
- a Master's degree with 2 to 6 years of post-graduation professional experience;
- or a PhD with no more than 3 years of post-graduation professional experience.
